The achievements of the Apollo program captivated a generation, including Carrie Olsen, a little girl with big dreams. Her hard work and passion for space launched her career and blazed a path in a workplace that did not always believe she should be there.

When the Apollo XIII spacecraft experiences a critical equipment failure, three astronauts’ lives hang in the balance. A concerted national effort is undertaken to return the crew safely, and two Bulldog alums on different coasts are among those solving the engineering problems that stand in the way.
