The recipient of the Northrop-Grumman scholarship must be a student in good standing in pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering. Preference will be given to students from areas impacted by Hurricane Katrina. The amount of the scholarship is $1,000 per year and is distributed in the amount of $500 per semester.
The Darwyn L. Ausbon, Jr. Memorial Endowed Scholarship was established by Kristen Ausbon to honor Darwyn Ausbon, a December 1996 graduate of Aerospace Engineering at Mississippi State University. The recipient must be a full-time student majoring in Aerospace Engineering in the Bagley College of Engineering at Mississippi State University. Preference is given to applicants with financial need. The amount of the scholarship is $1,000 per year and is distributed in the amount of $500 per semester.
The NASA Aeronautics Scholarship Program is now being administered by the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE).
